"Does not wisdom call out? Does not understanding raise her voice? At the highest point along the way, where the paths meet, she takes her stand; beside the gate leading into the city, at the entrance, she cries aloud: To you, O people, I call out; I raise my voice to all humanity."
(Proverbs Ch 8 vs 1 to 4).
There is a constant quest for wisdom and understanding to improve life, to make it better, and to advance our humanity. In 1 Corinthians Ch 1 v 20, Paul asks the 'wise' Greek society, 'where is the wise person?'..and says,
'Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God'.
The much earlier King Solomon's response is to say that wisdom is crying out in the streets, on the hills, and at the crossroads of life. The wisdom of God is staring the world in the face for the wisdom of God is displayed in Jesus' teaching and in His love for us on the Cross of Calvary. Jesus calls His disciples to be His witnesses and to take the Good News of the Gospel of God's wisdom to the ends of the earth.
'Go, tell it on the mountain, over the hills and everywhere; go, tell it on the mountain that Jesus Christ is Lord!'
A prayer:- 'Grant me courage, O Lord, to be ready to testify that, "God is wisdom, God is love". Amen'.
